WhatsApp’s new Interface gives you all the Power as an Admin
WhatsApp's new interface tries every inch to protect privacy
WhatsApp’s new interface shows Facebook aren’t ready to slow down its plans for the social messaging application.
And the angle the Meta-verse as it is now called is taking on is the issue of security for the app’s users as WhatsApp has promised better protection for the messages encrypted in chats.
WhatsApp’s new interface lets the admin have all the power regarding what goes on in a group chat which includes granting the approval to look into people wanting to participate in group chats created, delete users’ messages
A beta test is said to have been run to see how this interface works or is responded to by users before it gets launched to the public.
The admin approval feature going by WhatsApp’s workings is aimed at safeguarding user privacy and fight against spam messages in often times large group chats.
Of course, we have seen the case whereby unknown users enter into group chats without the notification of its members and the admin in particular, and begin sending out spam messages on the chat.
It is sometimes believed to be a spam bot in action but the idea that a user can intrude large chat groups creates the question of safety of private chats which WhatsApp and the meta-verse are looking to prevent.
The new Whatsapp’s interface is also set to protect group members from harassment from members within the group,
The feature also allows the cross-check with existing group members to look into the authenticity of chat requests should suspicions ever rise to the identity of a member.
